2019 Western Regional Conference and Border Tour

AAEI and the Foreign Trade Association hosted the 2019 AAEI and FTA Western Regional Conference in San Diego, CA, September 25-26, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.

AAEI and the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) also hosted a special behind-the-scenes tour of the U.S.-Mexico border at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.

Participants got an overview of Exports, Imports, and have a special briefing by CBP and Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT), of the Mexican Federal Government. SAT is responsible for collecting taxes, as well as enforcing fiscal and customs law.
