Application and Payment Policy: The submission of a sponsorship application and any associated payment does not constitute a binding contract or acceptance by the American Association of Exporters & Importers (AAEI). Receipt of funds shall be treated strictly as a processing deposit pending organizational review. A sponsorship agreement is only finalized when AAEI issues an explicit, written confirmation of acceptance to the sponsor.
Right of Refusal and Programming Alignment: AAEI reserves the absolute right to refuse any sponsor, decline any application, and reject or return any payment at its sole discretion, without requirement for cause. Sponsorship approvals are strictly conditional upon the sponsor’s full alignment with the mission, educational programming, values, and target audience of the virtual event.
Limitation of Liability upon Refusal: In the event that a sponsorship is declined, rejected, or revoked due to programming misalignment, AAEI’s sole financial and legal liability shall be the return of the submitted payment amount. The refund will be processed within 30 business days. AAEI shall not be held liable for any consequential damages, lost marketing opportunities, or reliance losses claimed by the applicant resulting from the refusal.
Immediate Revocation and Digital Removal: If a conflict of interest, ethical concern, or programming misalignment is identified after initial approval but prior to or during the live virtual broadcast, AAEI reserves the right to immediately terminate the sponsorship. Upon termination, AAEI will instantly remove the sponsor’s logo, links, and mentions from all virtual event platforms, websites, and digital channels.
