CBP Urges Trade to Designate Cybersecurity POC

August 21, 2024 – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recommended this week that the trade community assign a Technical Point of Contact (POC) designated for Cybersecurity to their ACE portal account. The change is intended to address the recent increase in cyberattacks. To add a Cybersecurity POC, ACE account users must begin by completing the steps required to add a general POC as described on page 42 in the Modernized ACE Portal User Guide
