AAEI, as part of the Forced Labor Working Group (FLWG) composed of 25 industry groups, submitted joint comments to the Office of the United States Trade Representative addressing the Section 301 investigation into forced labor practices in select economies. The submission reflects a collective industry perspective on the scope, implications, and potential effectiveness of tariff-based enforcement mechanisms as a tool for addressing forced labor.
