AAEI, alongside over 50 organizations in the trade community, submitted a joint letter to the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection regarding implementation of the June 3, 2026, Executive Order, Strengthening Customs Enforcement. The submission reflects collective industry support for strong enforcement mechanisms paired with clear rules and notice-and-comment rulemaking, emphasizing that effective customs enforcement should simultaneously facilitate lawful trade and protect supply chain integrity.
