AAEI submitted a letter to Jeffrey Kessler, Undersecretary of Industry and Security, regarding unresolved Section 232 derivative valuation issues.
The letter underscores the effect of the Administration’s April 2 Proclamation on prior entries, immediate concerns regarding CAPE, and requests clarification on prior-period valuation. In addition to these matters, AAEI raised other outstanding industry concerns, as well as actions that AAEI requests the U.S. Department of Commerce take.
