The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a two-part short-term funding bill on Tuesday that will keep the government from shutting down until early 2024. The two-tiered approach sets separate deadlines–January 19th and February 2nd–for two groups of appropriations bills, each funding a different subset of the government. The bill now moves to the Senate, where it is expected to pass.
