Linda has been actively involved with AAEI for over 10 years and is currently a Board member and the Vice-Chair, Events and Education. As Vice Chair of Events and Education, Linda provides a guiding hand for AAEI’s annual conferences (#AAEI2022) and webinars. She has shepherded AAEI’s conference program and policy development for more than four years, and her dedication guided the Association through the transition to two virtual conferences in the past two years.
Before her role on AAEI’s Board of Governors, Linda served for years as the Chair of AAEI’s Nominating Committee. Linda saw the critical role the Nominating Committee plays in developing AAEI’s leaders and she helped develop important policies that continue today.
Linda has more than 30 years of experience in the trade industry and is a licensed customs broker. Linda’s experiences include designing and implementing import & export policies & procedures, trade audit program, troubleshooting, education, mergers & acquisitions, integrations, ISA, and supply chain security. Linda has a bachelor of science in U.S. – Japanese history, language, and politics from Bowling Green State University and a degree from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
