AAEI is spotlighting members who are helping lead the Association on key issues, initiatives and projects. This week, AAEI is featuring Caroline Dale of Flexport Corporation.
Caroline was a panelist on 21st Century Customs Framework (21CCF), which is U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP’s) project on customs modernization, at AAEI’s Roadshow in Atlanta last week. She contributed to the discussion on possible trade facilitation recommendations, including a information sharing among Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) and CBP as one way to help streamline the importing and exporting process. Caroline also is an active member of AAEI’s Customs Committee.
At Flexport, Caroline is Customs Content Manager. She is a licensed customs broker and an attorney specializing in international commercial law. Caroline has spent nearly a decade as a self-described bona fide “trade nerd,” building her career in the international trade law and customs space. before working at Flexport, Caroline was a Trade Compliance Officer at Pangaea.
