July 31, 2024 – AAEI recognizes members who lead the Association on key issues, initiatives, and projects. This week, AAEI spotlights Stacy Hallon of Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

Stacy and the Takeda team were instrumental in putting together the Healthcare Industries Committee’s comments calling for removal of vero cells from the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) List.

Stacy has over 25 years of experience in the trade compliance field, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Customs and Trade Compliance for the Americas at Takeda. Stacy is a licensed customs broker and a certified customs specialist and has a comprehensive understanding of the trade related regulatory requirements and best practices for various industries, such as consumer electronics, medical devices, biologics, and drugs. In this role, Stacy and her team work to also safeguard business goals and financial decisions, and drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, Stacy is passionate about her Peloton Bike and doing all the classes she can fit in each week, Yin Yoga. She enjoys traveling internationally with her family.
