AAEI’s 103rd Annual Conference and Expo will be held in Fort Lauderdale, June 10-12, 2024, with a focus on trade challenges facing importers and exporters and the strategies required to meet them. As the event approaches, AAEI is featuring many of this year’s conference speakers. The spotlight this week is on Bart Jan Koopman of The European Shipping Council.

Bart Jan will be a panelist for, “Country Trade Updates: It’s a Small World After All.” He’ll discuss the European Union’s regulatory enforcement of environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies, pending regulations and the future of free trade agreements in the EU.

Bart Jan also advises SMEs and multinationals on their international strategy and advises the Dutch government on issues affecting the trade strategy.
