May 15, 2024 – AAEI’s 103rd Annual Conference and Expo in Fort Lauderdale, June 10-12, 2024, will focus on trade challenges facing importers and exporters and the strategies required to meet them. AAEI is featuring many of this year’s conference speakers. The spotlight this week is on Fanny Hanono, President of GFX Inc.

Fanny will be a featured panelist for the C-Suite Panel: A Conversation on How to Communicate Compliance Wins and Challenges to the C-Suite. Fanny will help attendees understand how to effectively communicate the successes, challenges, and importance of trade compliance with the C-Suite. She will discuss practical communication approaches, and what to avoid when preparing materials.

Fanny is the owner and President of GFX, Inc. headquartered in Miami, FL. The business has been in operation since 1961, formerly under the name Cartel. GFX specializes in automotive aftermarket transmission parts. 

Fanny is also the Corporate Secretary for Perry Ellis International, a private family-owned business, a leading global fashion powerhouse which represents some of the premier brands in the retail industry.
