June 5, 2024 – AAEI’s 103rd Annual Conference and Expo in Fort Lauderdale, June 10-12, 2024, will focus on trade challenges facing importers and exporters and the strategies required to meet them. AAEI is featuring many of this year’s conference speakers. The spotlight this week is on Kari Finch of General Mills.

Kari will moderate a panel on “GTM Solutions: Automate or Perish 2.0.” Attendees will learn about the importance of global trade management (GTM) solutions in a time when centrally managed business processes have become essential. The panel will examine how GTM solutions can lead to improved regulatory compliance, vendor screening, and accurate landing costs.

Kari serves as AAEI’s Vice Chair, as an experienced leader in the trade community with 20 years of experience in the global supply chain. Her experience includes Customs compliance, global trade strategy and logistics. She currently serves as Senior Manager of Global Trade Services at General Mills, where she manages export compliance for the U.S. Export Division to over 90 countries as well as the implementation of Global Trade Compliance policy.
