May 29, 2024 – AAEI’s 103rd Annual Conference and Expo in Fort Lauderdale, June 10-12, 2024, will focus on trade challenges facing importers and exporters and the strategies required to meet them. AAEI is featuring many of this year’s conference speakers. The spotlight this week is on Marc Hebert of Jones Walker LLP.

Marc will be a panelist for a session on, “Advocating for Your Company: Influencing the Insiders.” Attendees will hear about how they can advance their company’s trade priorities while mastering effective communication strategies. Marc, along with his fellow panelists, has experience as a Congressional policy maker. Before his first job at a law firm, Marc worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Government Reform and Oversight Subcommittee on National Economic Growth, Natural Resources, and Regulatory Affairs.

Marc has practiced law since 1996. At Jones Walker LLP, Marc is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group and focuses on the representation of energy, marine transportation, chemicals, pharmaceutical, agriculture and manufacturing clients. He also is co-chair of Jones Walker’s Guyana task force, supporting the goal of strengthening economic ties to Guyana’s energy, infrastructure, maritime, logistics, healthcare, banking and agribusiness industry sectors. Marc has organized and led several trade missions to Guyana.
