AAEI’s 103rd Annual Conference and Expo will be held in Fort Lauderdale, June 10-12, 2024, with a focus on trade challenges facing importers and exporters and the strategies required to meet them. As the event approaches, AAEI is featuring many of this year’s conference speakers. The spotlight this week is on Tom Cook of Blue Tiger International.

Tom will lead a special benchmarking session on June 13th, the day after conference officially ends, on Reducing Landed Costs and Risks in Global Supply Chain. Tom will explore the importance of “Landed Cost” modeling for enhancing value in imports and exports. He will lead the discussion on sustainable solutions to address current disruptions in global trade, and identify practical strategies to minimize risk and cut costs in a company’s global supply chain. Tom says participants will come away knowing how to refine their negotiation skills to secure optimal value for their spending.

At Blue Tiger International, Tom is Managing Director, helping clients manage their business models, supply chains, sales and business development, purchasing, business decision-making, vendor-contract management and import-export operations.

Tom will facilitate AAEI’s importer-exporter benchmarking session on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. For more information and the latest updates on AAEI’s 2024 Annual Conference, go to AAEI’s conference webpage.
